My guess is the buying is still US-based and will continue until developments related to the strategic plan give MPO a momentum of its own. It doesnt matter what assumptions you apply, MPO is ascribed negative value for its assets. It has new management and a new plan is being formulated.There are clearly a few different permutations than may arise from this process, all of which it is reasonable to assume either short or long term, will result in some value being restored.
