The only thing certain in geology and rock masses in general is that they are characterised by uncertainty. Scientific knowledge itself is just an approximation or 'best guess' in light of the available empirical evidence. Nothing is certain in this game. The best premise to follow IMHO is to under promise and over deliver. I would rather see them understate the JORC then over deliver once into production and with further exploration.
