A farm in agreement between Barrick and IDC might work
Barrick spend whatever is required to find a further 8-10 million oz for a 60% interest in the proceeds from those discoveries and an option to buy out IDC.
Its a long play but its the sort of position Barrick would profit from, they are risk takers at the big end of town.
A deal of this kind could be tailored to the interests of both parties, a bit like INCO at OK Tedi.
