Great question raging. A few weeks back it looks like one of the former directors was selling a lot of stock around the 2c mark. There were a few million appearing and disappearing around that level. Millions of GLAO options were offloaded earlier. The net effect of having those shares available for sale is helping to keep the price down.

Add that to the fact that this is iron ore and in South America and you have almost the perfect storm. However and this is a big however, stocks like these with decent cash at hand and sold down heavily often have a tendency to rebound very quickly on news or change of sector sentiment.

Ive been saying the same thing over at CBS. That one came good very quickly on a nice piece of news. Funnily enough, the two companies have a very similar set up, GLA has a few less shares on issue but CBS has more cash.

A year ago this was trading around 5 times its current MC. 2 years ago this hit a high of around 60c. Not a lot has changed in that time and the retrace has taken place on low volumes.

Just when things look altogether woeful, mainly through sector sentiment, is often the best time to consider a position. Ive done that here and with a few other Sth American iron ore explorers. Even branched into some coalies. They wont all pay off, but what CBS proved is that a medium to longer term view of these type of companies can be very profitable.

All my opinion, but good luck.
