    Re your post which included;
    "... It doesn't seem that you or your leftist cohort put any store in the collective mood of the people. Firstly, you ignore the polls; secondly, you concentrate not on the current government but the Opposition; and thirdly, you trot out leftist dogma rather than reason. ..."

    You have misrepresented my posts and my position.

    At no stage have I ever denied the collective mood of mainstream Australians; in fact I have often quoted it - early in 2011 I even posted on this forum that Julia Gillard was politically dead in the water, for example!

    It's others who deny data from that pertaining to climate change to macro-economic KPIs and even opinion polling; such as the record high dissatisfaction ratings Tony Abbott achieved as Opposition Leader late in 2012 and the just released 2.1% CPI figure.

    Any read of my posts on this forum will also demonstrate that I have often expressed dissatisfaction with Julia Gillard's performance as PM. She is not my leader of choice but as I've stated previously; in Indi even though I used to vote for Lou Lieberman, I could never vote for Sophie Mirabella.

    But it's also true that unlike some posters on this forum, I post about the failings of John Howard's Government and the shortcomings of Tony Abbott. Apparently on this forum that's a political heresy and a dark matter to be kept under wraps at all costs.

    FWIW I'm far from sorry for being a fly in politically correct Abbott ointment.
