I don't know anything about drilling but does anyone know the chances of the well not being able to produce at all?

After reading the statement carefully the wording suggests that it's not a question of if it can be brought into production but when. I'm guessing they need to test the unwanted material in there to ensure it is all residue of drilling additives etc, and not leaking in from somewhere else..?

Once this issue is dealt with exploration in the new area can proceed...they seem to be situated in a great location and having the new plant is a huge advantage...lack of cash is the only concern. Maybe they could overcome this with a joint venture of some sort...
