I also have an older version 2000 I think and have never found a reason to update.

Excel is and was always one of the most brilliant programs ever invented

BUT it is a fact of life that software developers work backwards all the time they never change.

They invent/write a program and then spend the next twenty years to un-develop it, when it no longer works at all they start again.

Look at Windows, I think the last good one was Windows 98 since then it has progressively deteriorated to the disaster they call Windows 7
