What a week for Perth property.
REIWA figures show new all time high median price of $510k
RP Data comes out with 3% rises for March.
Property back on front page of local paper and on TV.
Unfortunately Hot Copper pulls the mother of all April fools day jokes and the Perth bulls miss out on bragging rights.
Two interesting comments this week. The bottom end is still doing well but the trade up market of $600k - $800k is coming alive hence the jump in median.
Other comment I find odd. People are holding back listing their properties because they will get more in the future.
Yes if you are an investor or have multiple properties. But if you are selling one property to buy another then what is the point. During the boom people with one property were bragging how much money they had made, but when they sold and bought in the same market all they did was give their profit to somebody else.
listings heading below 8000 and the herd are getting very restless, more to come.
