One thing this article highlights that I wasn't aware of is that global central bank balance sheets as a whole actually decreased for the first 3 months of the year. The decline in gold maps perfectly to the trend of gold tracking the money base.

So, the view of the Sprott team is that the balance sheets will continue to rise and rise a great deal. With it so will gold.
