I think half the problem is that people put too much faith in strangers that they don't know, except via the Internet and if they're lucky, an AGM, once per year. So many people used the argument that they would continue to hold based on 'trusting Mgmt' and other loyalist phrases, when really that should be one of the last reasons to hold. Nothing wrong with having a punt at the spec end though, if that's your game - some you get wrong and some you get right. Will no doubt make everyone that little bit better when assessing future investments. Hopefully nobody's been too burnt, always puts a damper on your day to see carnage in the portfolio.
