    The mistake with the Gladstone purchase was that LBL entered a "hot" market, but can't compete with the high input costs. Compare that with NSW, where the cost pressures are less and the company can turn a profit.

    My personal preference is to avoid SA/WA altogether (perhaps even look to get out of Qld, if improvements aren't forthcoming). Open something up in SE Asia, where the real growth is happening and market the Laserbond "advanced" technologies to that region. As far as I'm concerned, Australia is a dead place to do business, the only sectors that are thriving are reliant on our Government continuing to ratchet up our public debt to the tune of $5 billion a month; but that music will also stop.
