Go to the Nimrodel home page and check out the Takatokwane project and then go to the top report in regional news on Nimrodel page and see the map in the article. How close do either of these western options run to the proposed Takatokwane coal mine? I think they have the mine in the middle of both proposed routes. I would say 17c is being rather conservative if this rail line happens. Another point to consider-the rail line IMO will start being built from Gaborone so a connecting line to the existing Sth african line may happen quite quickly.
Just my opinion no concrete facts as of yet.
