Operational loss in the past six monthly because they got $107/t with coal prices dropping and a higher strip ratio.
COK wasnt the only one who got hit with the meltdown in commodity prices.
Compare to the period before, the mine was making money.
With PCI being settled in the first quarter of the 2H2013 around $125/t and now around USD140 Baralaba should be making a profit.
Its wrong to say this company is operationally not making money. Its right to say it wont make money if the coal price plummets, like any other coal producer out there.
