The hard drive in my old PC died last week,thank goodness the important stuff was backed up to my network drive.
I replaced the old drive with a SSD "solid state drive".
A huge increase in speed and not only because I did a clean reinstall of windows, these things are so much faster, 15 seconds boot up and only 5 seconds shut down and that's on an old banger 5 or 6 years old.
A great upgrade for only about $100 for a 128Gig
