I guess the best way to allay any speculation on "how much' or "how little" SDL is worth would be to joint venture with a few big guns. Building the company up, and getting close to production, will be the best way to maximize shareholder value under the circumstance.
If no big players interested in 2 years time for takeover - well SDL will then just go straight ahead with production and increase stakeholder interest even more.
The question as to SDL value today should thus be measured against what a buyer is prepared to pay and thus preventing a JV to materialise. Sure as hell, if someone would now want to offer anything less than 40c per share, I'm sure management will go the JV way. They keep their jobs intact for the next 25 or more years. Company gets built up to significant producer and we can all becom wanomads with Winnabagos
The only problem right at this minute is to stich the consortium together. If this can be achieved, SDL is away and running.
