re: crashy picking pivots. Well One month is a long time if your calls are out of the money, and all you got is time premium, but if you buy the calls its time decay!.
Even if the stocks hold ground, the option holder looses money!
Its gotta rally, and rally hard for the short term buyers to expect a return cum expiry, although you might be able to off load before expiry.
But you know all this crashy, no criticism of your trades intended, I'm curious, as you write "neutral outlook" spreads which make money most of the time, and I'm curious as to whether you do as well "picking bottoms" or as you term it "picking pivots".
When do your stop loss mechanisms kick in!
