The taunts from the left that Abbott won't be able to fix it seems to be simply propaganda. The sheer influx from the boat arrivals indicate that they think those wanting to come here for a life time of free income and all the other carrots have a limited time.
I also wonder if Gillard is deliberately making the problem so much worse so she can make it difficult for the libs to fix AND to then throw out the taunts that it can't be fixed.
Pretty shameful if labor have allowed the problem to become so bad that that an incoming government can't fix it.
