I'm going to spend my weekend dedicating a shrine to Doctor Kenny. But he should've gone further, consumers probably don't realise this, be it from Swisse or Blackmore's...
-The ingredients in "health" supplements are simple everyday products you can find on a leisurely stroll down a suburban street. The actual cost of the active ingredients (the useful component) is a minute fraction of the sales price... you'll save a bomb if you just picked up a clove of garlic and ate it once a week rather than paying for a Garlix health supplement from Blackmore's.
-You can buy their "health" supplements, consume it and return the empty packaging for a full cash refund... simply because they do not function as claimed on the labelling. There is no scientific evidence to support their claims.
I've developed a cold... and I'll demonstrate the above... I'm going to buy a bottle of Echinacea plus Garlix... and then return it a few days later for a full cash refund... and document it all on social media.
