haha...yes it always is. I've followed gold fairly closely since 2003-04. Whenever it has a strong run up or down there's people congratulating themselves and others defending their, at that time, wrong short-term view.
I'd say technically gold does not look too gold short-term but longer term the fundamentals for gold look good. The issue for bulls is that a downdraft like 2008, if repeated, will see gold probably go to 1100-1200 before taking off again so you have to be ready to ride the rodeo.
