novartis signs up poh's tpm, page-2

Themis Medicare has agreed to manufacture and supply Diclofenac topical gel to Novartis in finished dosage pharmaceutical on certain commercial terms and conditions.

Diclofenac topical gel is formulated using a unique TPM transdermal drug delivery system.

On Mar. 26, 2013 the company and Novartis have signed license and supply agreement with Novartis India.

Shares of the company gained Rs 2, or 3.42%, to settle at Rs 60.50. The total volume of shares traded was 546 at the BSE (Friday).

From the bolder line it would appear Themis struck the deal with Novartis to license and supply Novartis India.
Novartis in control here. You have to think India is the testing ground.

Now we can see why the delay occurred in that the deal was only finalised on March 26th.
