Unfortunately the POG has almost a double whammy effect on SP when its going down, yet when POG is going up its not always reflected in the price of the SP.
Mining stocks now more than ever come down IMO to individual companies. You cannot look at sectors anymore...ie coal prices are up so everyone's up...not in this market.
For the SP of SLR to stabilize or move up against market trends it has to be hitting it out of the park on its Qtlery reports...more ounces produced, costs per ounce coming down etc etc and it has to hit that mark every quarter. Only then will you see a reversal of SP fortunes.
I'm not sure what SLR's next Qter is going to look like...but its key ATM. Even if gold went back to $1600 , $1700 etc etc unless the company meets and exceeds market expectations..it gonna get hurt.
