SBM held up very well, all things considering -
. Large loan commitments
- 2 Pacific island mines that are probably uneconomic at current POG
. a falling POG and a high AUD.
. operating in a high cost environment in Oz
If only they had not made an offer for ALD, they could have had it for next to nothing just by waiting a few months (hindsight)
