The filter is to remove the fines. These are not present in the Al80 at the end currently or in the future.
Consistent Al80 product would indicate that the rest of the plant is also running consistently and that the Al and other products extracted is occurring reliably (consistently).
The filter will not affect the quality of the Al80 apart from increasing the volume of product going through (as right now it just keeps getting fed again until fines are gone).
