To be completely balanced , he didn't mention other technologies such as clean coal ( big things being done on algae converting CO2 to biofuels ) as well.
Hence , the advantage of getting on the net and finding more information for oneself.
Either way , he does present a good argument , particularly when you look at the big picture . It frustrates me that given the resources that a government would have to research an issue prior to making a decision , they appear to not take advantage of those resources .
Another couple of not so insignificant benefits of the gas boom in the US which wasn't mentioned . Cheaper energy in the US is making the US manufacturing industry more competitive ( jobs ) and it is predicted that the US will be a net energy exporter by 2020. Imagine the geopolitical benefits from that !
