Rabooth - I agree, fluctuations due to market conditions are an accepted part of this game. I've been in since early 2010, so underwater now.
This is just poor cash management of the commissioning phase. Management were very quick to write off Cathay's takeover as opportunistic at a time when earnings are likely to be volatile. If management expected volatility - they should have raised more capital in the middle of last year as a buffer.
$1 is a long way away, $1.70 seems like a very long wait
I am sceptical about being cashflow postive for the June quarter.
This melt down has pushed me further towards using charts and TA only. Do not read company announcements and director pronouncements - it only tempts you to believe them!! and I'm an accountant who likes a bit of fundamental analysis
I guess the general disclosure and forward looking statements disclosure ensure that any such statements are barely worth the paper they are written on
