Australians? Good luck getting people out in the middle of the desert to whine about it. This isn't CBM under some salt-of-the-earth farmer's wheat crop complaining on Alan Jones about his taps shooting fire. It's barren wasteland so inhospitable we're sitting here without news for months because there is a drilling "season" where you can't even get out there for half the year even if millions of dollars are sitting under the dirt.
Greenies will complain and try and tie it to Gasland or whatever and make it seem like the drilling is going to be in particularly picturesque areas but realistically it's out of sight and out of mind. No water tables are affected and there aren't even any whales or dinosaur footprints to worry about, it will be like taking candy from a baby - there will be some crying and tantrums but the lolly will be long gone.
