Halberd45 , good points about the mobilisation costs and the depths .

Norwest don't have the challenges of dealing with a partner which is three orders of magnitude their size either .

I know the focus of the first well flowed was oil but there is so much interest in the Cooper but if PFC or CTP can get good quality wet gas out of these much shallower formations the economics could be tremendous .


I hold PFC at an average of 20c per share , breaking even at the moment as well as BKP so sorry if I let the frustration get to me and went on the defensive a bit .

Have you guys seen the illustration of the scenario you describe around Elkedra-7 on cross section E-F of this Elkedra map ?

I do think the market has overreacted to last years problems but afaik we are still no wiser to why the Owen well only flowed water and whether it was shut off because the flow of water stopped or because oil did not appear .
