As commented AGO probably paid to much for AXO and GIR assets. IMHO they paid way to much.

That is a lot of shareholders money spent on excessive priced assets.

Do these previous actions give people continued confidence in other decision making that AGO is making?

Rubber on the road beats rhetoric anyday.

How many support the sponsorship of sports teams ? Is this an example of Hubris?

AGO has a bit more work to do to reconvince people it is focused on cost saving and production.
