As a NZ investor it is of no consequence to me and the cash dividend is always treated as 'gross' but i would not want to mislead Australian investors.

It will be interesting to see how the extra share applications are handled (rationed?) given the strong SP.

My experience with other companies is that retail investors tend to miss out on in-the-money opportunities like these when there arent enough shares to go around but lets wait and see.
