I agree with your assessment. Those who believe Lynas will be unaffected by any outcome are out of their minds. Prepare for either Anwar to defeat Najib or for the opposition to hold BN to less than a 2/3 majority. The odds of either one of those things happening is at least 90%. Even if Najib wins there is a real possibility that his party will replace him after the election. The tide is not with Barisan Nasional.

Im not saying they will shut down Lynas, but they will certainly make life harder on the company. Lynas has placed itself in a great situation nevertheless. We are operational and the most respected environmental agencies in the world have given their blessing to LAMP. More regulation is going to come if this election falls to the opposition. How much is anyone's guess, but this "Johnny Blue Skies" attitude by some on this board would normally be laughable if the stakes weren't so damn high.
