gilded, no-one suggested that going to university means you are intelligent. Here we have a scientific study showing that IQ and conservative thought share an inverse relationship. Nothing more, nothing less. It does not say that ALL conservatives have a lower IQ but that the study shows a higher propensity for such.
Clearly, conservative media and political parties are very aware of the psychological profile of their readers/constituents. There is nothing new here. Just further confirmation of what is already known by intelligent right- and left-wingers alike.
