No, this is hedging and making $ whatever the outcome, assuming that assertions on the expected SP movement is correct. You would be backing your judgement.
Now of course if your assumptions on SP movement is incorrect then you may get stuffed.
Just giving ideas as to how one can make money either way based on one's assumptions. Sometime we win and sometime we don't, but it's about playing the odds, as is life.
