I heard that a number of major shareholders had identified a potential new CEO from the east coast, who had a substantial track record in start up businesses, and turning poor performers around. In addition, he apparently has the contacts in the financial services industry to bring new shareholders on board. The Chairman is aware of this person, but is reluctant to bring him on board in any capacity. Not sure why, but surely if he was appointed prior to AGM, it would deliver a new hope and direction for the future. Maybe someone should raise this at the AGM.
