Cato...by placing a sell order lower than a buy order doesn't mean they don't want to make money...it essentially guarantees that their sell order will be at the next best buy offer price...I tried it once on SDL...I placed a sell order lower that the previous day end sp...then at 10am-ish, the shares got sold at the pre-open sp rate - which was higher than my sell order price...I hope I am making sense...
