Why are journalists unable to get it right, and show some respect when it is deserved.
The paper printed .. "Keith Payne, of Mackay, the last Australian to win the Victoria Cross"
They make it sound like this guy won a lottery
Why not state the he was awarded the VC which would be more accurate and respectful of our war heros.
