hc fighting fund, page-29

Hi Yoda, I want to respond to this thread and your post seems like a good place to start.
An HC representative, was it you(?) posted earlier that HC, itself, is well able to defend its own interests and that the only purpose of the fighting fund is to defend members, who come under attack for making libelous posts.
What I want to say is that if HC were to come under attack, then I would be a contributor to any defence fund because HC has a collective voice that should be heard, BUT there is no way that I'll contribute to a fund to save individuals from themselves, what is libelous, and what isn't, is fairly obvious to most people, before they make their posts; if they can't work it out for themselves, don't look to me to fund their flights of fancy.
