"You need to give it a break and it is verging on frivolous or trivial - misdirected, at worst, vexatious - at best persistent." While no doubt well meaning, in my humble opinion it is unbecoming to offer advice regarding an individual's case which is .. " frivolous ... trivial...misdirected ... vexatious" ... I know Maxw, and while the aforementioned inference(s) may not be directed squarely at him but at the case in question, a shadow however remains, which IMHO is a put down on a good and honorable man, who pens a far more diplomatic and eloquent post than my skills allow. "You were margin called". Why? That's all Maxw wants to know. If an audit had been conducted as requested, "wasting a fortune in taxpayer resources" would not have occurred, if in fact that is the case; IMHO a slightly demeaning reference implying abuse of the public purse. I found this in ASX trading rules around 6 years ago when entering the stock market as a late (retirement age) starter. "Market manipulation describes a deliberate attempt to interfere with the free and fair operation of the market and create artificial, false or misleading appearances with respect to the price of, or market for, a stock. This is typically done either by spreading false or misleading information in order to influence others to trade in a particular way, or by using buying and selling orders deliberately to affect prices or turnover, in order to create an opportunity for profit." This rule one assumes no longer applies, I was not able to find it recently. Keep at it Maxw Cheers Leto3
