Having owned this stock since it was -44 cents the main reason I have toyed with selling is due to the effect on my own wealth.
Very few of my thoughts are whether BTA is now worth $300 million and can sustain that valuation.
I would suspect a lot of others are in the same boat.
Obviously with it falling all the time the thinking is I should sell at least some of my shares to take advantage of this on paper windfall.
Having said that when it was 1.90 a week or so ago I was confident both because it was going up and because the story was good.
The story though has not changed only perhaps the news has got stale.
The fact does remain that GSK is ramping to the max their production of Relenza and the worldwide demand exceeds and looks like it will continue to exceed their ability to produce it.
On paper there is a great deal of value in Biota. How much I don't think many people know but I do feel at least half the movements in price are due to investors emotions.
Fear and greed are playing out very strongly here.
