There are some strong under-currents going on in the coal sector at long last given:
- the world growth # are now expected to explode next year from previous pessimistic outlook;
- implosion of Europe’s carbon emissions program;
- European Parliament voting down a plan to withdraw 900 million carbon emission certificates over concerns that force up prices;
- rise in the gas price; and
- failure of renewable as cost effective substitute.
I'm here for their super high quality HCC as it's fundamentally a scarce resource required for steel making rather than cheap energy.
