I know the assumptions behind the plan and the expected return and expected take up rates. Now if from all available knowledge, thus far, all the targets are not even close to being met, why would I have faith that it can be self funded 15-20 years from now? When even targets set 1-2 years ago are way off?
Like I said, better infrastructure is great. I am not surprised the IT sector argues so passionately for it.
I bet the medical sector would argue passionately for $43bn, or the tertiary sector, etc. Who wouldn't want that kind of injection into their field of endeavour?
