Agree V that the LV brown coal generators are also holding the best and and large quantities of bc. Yet they have a lot of capital tied up in their electricity generation plants, capital that I am sure they would rather see devalued later rather than sooner. Hence is is in their interests to stall and stymie the inception of newer modes of bc driven power generation.
Just seems to be many conflicting and as yet unresolved issue the govt has not explicitly explained in regards to how this bc pilbara will develop, step by meticulous step. Maybe the govternments have a blueprint for the whole bc pilbara development but won't discuss it publicly for reasons of thier own. Commercial in confidence with their relations with all the business owners, not wanting undue and hostile public reaction from farmers and greenies.
For the investor in a bc play there are still many unknowns. Yet the plethora of bc techs and their backers that BR and others have provided links for instills confidence that brown coal is going to be the next (and probably last) big thing in carbon generated power.
