Just a refresher mate :)
"Based on our experience and productivities in our Demo Plant in Nowra coupled with modeling of a 100,000 mta plant, we can produce algae for approximately $200/mt and if you include depreciation, the breakeven costs are approximately $250/mt (which is equivalent to $36/bbl. A sunnier location and larger plant size can drive the cost down somewhat, but not lower than about $25/bbl. A less sunny location or smaller size can drive up the cost to $55/bbl. The number of $40/bbl was not a seat-of-the-pants guess."
