Whoever they do the JV with, penny to a pound it'll be a drill-to-earn deal.

The way this could play out, the RI might almost be unnecessary. Already the pathfinder costs have been picked up by the FO partner, leaving only the EFS to be funded. NOW...if they can do the same deal, the two potential company makers could be almost free-carried. 100% is also a much better ownership platform for the deal than 85%.

Importantly, Halcon have effectively funded the JV case and then some
