The USA did not want part of the Government , the same as they are not part of the Afghanistan government . The USA and Allies pulled out after a peace treaty was agreed to . I think in hindsight ( A wonderful thing ) they would have done it in a different manner and Melbourne would not have become a second Little Saigon . I will give the Vietnamese a little credit they have adapted to our way of life and the majority of them are not troublemakers I can not say this about the others who have just arrived Towie
