The trading halt on Monday was for the default 3 days "pending an announcement concerning the commercial contract". They quickly released that announcement clarifying the contract had yet to be signed. The company then resumed normal trade. IMO "within the next 2 weeks" still stands and am not expecting announcement Wednesday morning.
I still think whilst there was a .01% chance of problems or slippage the CEO shouldn't have made such a definitive statement.
Any way am happy to see the spike after all this time.
From memory, sales of unifil to companies other than Sanofi require Unilife to pay a percentage to Sanofi until a certain part of the $40 mill Euro is repaid.
Hope the contract is finalised soon and it is a BIG one.
