    I dont think posters understand what a shoulder charge is.imo

    In relation to Slater I pointed out in an earlier post how the side on shoulder/tackle was in relation to the sideline/corner post and stopping the opponet from scoring.

    In relation to the sideline anywhere on the field any one can use the shoulder to put the opponet over the sideline even if you were coming across sideways from a distance or running alongside the opponet, as long as it was not reckless or high.

    Theres a hugh difference with the front on shoulder charge which mostly ends up hitting the head and/or causeing injury to the opponet.imo

    But I'm no expert although I have been on the end of a few front on shoulder charges.! lol
