The people who bend their backs in this country are sick to death of people like Christine Milne raving on about the diesel rebate.

Why should diesel used "off road" for productive purposes be taxed at the "on-road" rate. The fact that governments use the tax as a "cash cow" is irrelevant. The tax generated should be used on upgrading the road infrastructure not to subsidise a whole raft of idiotic policies.
