Mr Michael Stiassny, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vector Limited
(Vector) announced to today that, pursuant to Rule 3.3.1A of the NZSX Rules,
the Board has determined that, in its view, Jonathan Mason is an Independent
Director of Vector.

Jonathan was appointed to the Board of Directors of Vector on 10 May 2013.
