Hi kbear1, initially I also thought placing the oppies not taken up would not occur but I did note in the announcement that that the reference to payment of 5% to of proceeds from shortfalls to Ord Minnet refers to both the spp and entitlement offer. I presume the entitlement offer is in respect to the oppies. If thats the case institutions etc can take up any shortfall for only a small upfront outlay. Once again shareholders cant really complain as they are being given first bid.
