Denben and MissU.. I'll make the facts simple for you both and maybe it might finally sink in. Gillard is the only one that has lied. She said plainly that there would be no carbon tax under a govt she would lead. And we got a carbon tax...LIE
As for Howard,yes,he did change his mind about the GST but he did this before being elected. ie, he took it to the election saying clearly that if elected,there would be a GST. He still got voted in and there was no lie. It wasn't a separate referendum on that 1 issue but it was part of the Libs policy platform that was taken to the election.
So you rusted on Labour lovers can look for another reason to knock the Coaltion but lets get with the current mess rather than look back over 10 yrs ago.
